  If you want to send your child to study piano with Stephanie, you need to be careful about the following issues.
  1) She operates an ad-hoc teaching style in the name of exploring the freedom in art. She spent most of the lesson time listening to a child's replay of songs for several times and assigning some new songs. Very little time is spent on explaining music, teaching techniques and theories, or identifying problems and issues.
  2) Any concerns/thoughts a parent raised regarding a child's obstacles encountered in practice will be regarded by her as parents' unreasonable expectations, overstepping, and unacceptable controlling of the child.
  3) Parent is always the side to blame with. If your child does not make any progress for a long time, she believes it is because parents practice a different philosophy from hers at home; if the child works hard and makes too much progress, she thinks the parent is abusing the child.
